PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN would not be what it is today without the incredible performance of Captain Jack Sparrow by the wonderful Johnny Depp. Despite this, fans may not have known that the role was originally penned for another Hollywood actor, and Captain Jack himself was even named after that person.
