ROBIN WILLIAMS became a close friend to director Steven Spielberg after they worked together on Hook in 1991. Two years later, Spielberg started filming the historic movie Schindler's List, but quickly realised he needed some help from a friend, so frequently contacted Robin for some much-needed laughs.
