THE WIZARD OF OZ was first released in 1939 and became one of Hollywood's most important films. The technicolour achievement took audiences on a weird and wonderful adventure, but behind-the-scenes the stars' pay has shocked modern viewers in light of the recent Peter Dinklage, Snow White remake controversy.
