KIRK DOUGLAS and Burt Lancaster had a long and complicated relationship throughout their careers together. But perhaps the most spiteful moment came from Lancaster who mercilessly teased Douglas for his height in front of a crowd of his fans. Despite this, years later, he said he "missed" his old friend.
