Elvis filmmakers slammed as ‘idiots’ by King’s family for ‘betraying' star and his parents

ELVIS the movie has been lambasted by some of Elvis Presley's close family members, including the last surviving original member of the Memphis Mafia. The King's cousin Billy Smith and his wife Jo, who used to hang out for hours with the star in his Graceland upstairs bedroom and were some of the last people to see him alive, have called the filmmakers behind the biopic "idiots" for "betraying" the music icon who died in 1977 and his parents Vernon and Gladys Presley.
