Elvis movie: 'Villain' Colonel Tom Parker defended by Baz Luhrmann



ELVIS PRESLEY is getting a brand new biopic later this year, but it will be told in a new way. Director Baz Luhrmann has decided to focus on the perspective of the King's manager Colonel Tom Parker, a character who calls himself a "villain". Luhrmann disagrees, instead saying it is too "easy" to brand the controversial man that way. Meanwhile, Tom Hanks has an entirely different view.
