Sean Connery's advice kept Nicolas Cage going after Disney balked at National Treasure 3



NICOLAS CAGE shot to the top of Hollywood in the 1990s but went the phone stopped ringing following a couple of flops, Disney decided not to go ahead with National Treasure 3. The Oscar-winning relied on a string of straight to VOD movies to pay off his debts, during which the actor kept a level head thanks to some sage advice from his late friend and former James Bond Sean Connery.
