Johnny Depp scored Edward Scissorhands role after Top Gun actor 'asked too many questions'



JOHNNY DEPP almost missed out on playing Tim Burton's Edward Scissorhands because the director was in talks with a legendary actor for the role. But eventually, the Top Gun star frustrated the scriptwriters by asking questions about the character's toilet habits before becoming "unwilling" to join the film.
