JAMES BOND LEGEND Sean Connery was a true Hollywood hard man but was terrified of a classic Thunderball scene. Even worse, the director didn't tell him that the safety measures were not complete. The star's panic and terror were not faked as he narrowly escaped a horrifying end. But he also reduced the set to laughter with an iconic practical joke.
